The essay, written sometime after 1964, also contains a preface, "Introductory Essay", a typed copy of the letter, footnoted, a bibliography, and a typed copy of an Associated Press notice from The New York Times, 11 June 1940, titled "Russell Is Now for War Better than Passive Resistance, Says Former Foe of Fighting".
