Dearest Colette
Thank you most warmly for the “sweet lovely roses”.3 They touched me very deeply, and filled me with affection. It is extraordinary to think that it is 44 years since their first incarnation.
It would be lovely to see you if ever you are in London when we are there. My present wife4 would like to know you. You wrote me a lovely letter about the Trafalgar Square meeting.5 Very much love, dear Colette.
B.
