"I am sorry not to agree to your suggestion, but on the whole I do not think that the formation of a church of truth would be a good plan. Any church, whatever its nominal, original purpose, always in the end gets into the hands of the wrong sort of people—e.g., the Sermon on the Mount is now regarded as affording a justification for H-bombs. What I fear would happen with a church of truth is that it would get into the hands of people who think they know the truth, and would thus be used as a basis for dogma."
