Dear Mr. Lunt:
Thank you very much for sending me the new jacket of Power which pleases me very much.
I am glad to hear that Dorothy Thompson praised the book, which I should not have known but for your letter. I got yesterday a batch of reviews from England which are extremely favorable and I gather that the book is selling very well there.
I find an increasing divorce between my intelligence and my feelings; the latter become every day more bellicose, but I remain convinced that that is irrational.
We both enjoyed seeing you very much and I hope you may be in Chicago again while we are here. My wife is at the dentist’s, otherwise she would send messages.
Yours sincerely,
Bertrand Russell.
