Dear Perry

In response to your letter, I am sending herewith a short note expressive of my agreement with the “six realists”,2 and if you think fit, I should be grateful if you would send it to the Journal of Philosophy, Psychology and Scientific Methods. I should have sent it sooner, but for our General Election, which took up my spare time, speaking and canvassing. The man I was working for got in, and left me time to think about philosophy again.

My wife sends best Xmas wishes to Mrs Perry and yourself, in which I join.
