Dear Gilbert

Thank you for your letter. I am very sorry to hear Mary has had a breakdown; please give her my love whenever it seems appropriate, and my very best wishes. I hope you are recovering from the flu — it is horrid. We are at above address (2 miles beyond Land’s End) till the end of July. Why not come and pay us a visit (we have plenty of room) sometime when you are seeing Mary in Devonshire?

Yours ever
Bertrand Russell.
