Yesterday we returned to the Brenner Road and slept at a place called Mauls; today we went south to Franzensfeste, and then turned into the Pusterthal. We expect to be at Cortina the day after tomorrow, and to be at Bozen in 5 or 6 days. I shall hope for news at Cortina, and the rest of my letters at Bozen. After getting this, please address Poste Restante, Trient, Tirol, Austria, which we shall probably go to a week later. We had a lovely day today, with tolerably warm weather. Tomorrow we get into the Dolomites.
