Last night we slept at a place called Moena, where they spoke Italian. Now we are at the top of a pass, and I shall post this in a town at the bottom. We have to climb a second pass this evening. The weather is very good — sunny and breezy, rather cool at the tops of the passes, very warm below. Address Poste Restante Riva Tirol Austria after getting this card. We hope to reach Trient about Thursday or Friday: thence we made a westward excursion and return to the Lake of Garda.
