BAGLEY WOOD,
OXFORD.
Wednesday
Dearest Alys
Thanks for thy letter. I am glad things seem to be going well at Worcester. I see C-B is going to receive (privately) a deputation from the W.L.F., headed by Rosalind, on W.S. This looks very well. — Fisher wrote to say he was sorry not to have got me a hearing — unnecessary, but kind. I hope thee is not getting too tired.
Thine aff
Bertie.
I am very glad thy compromise resolution was carried.
