My Dearest Darling —
2 letters from you reached me today, written just after I left — I was glad to get them. Sweetest, I hope you are feeling less tired. I was glad of all the news of John and Kate. I am sure you are right to give her fewer breast feeds. — The day I landed there was a terrific snow-storm but ever since it has been sunny and warm, quite delicious. I am at work from 9 a.m. to midnight, but quite fit. It is less tiring than it would be if I could take Yanks seriously. Mrs Sanger (with whom I lunched today) says Mrs Aldred asked her for money to reprint the pamphlet, saying your Comee. wished it reprinted. Mrs Sanger paid for the original printing of the pamphlet and made a present of it to the Aldreds. She is a bit better than Stopes but not much.
All goes well with me. I have already earned about £150. I hear Liveright sent you $750 so you won’t be poor. — Dearest Love I count the days till I am home. It is definite that I sail on the 31st, which means arriving 8th or 9th. — If Kate is weaned I shall want you to come to Liverpool. — No time for more now. DUTY calls. All my heart is with you my Beloved.
