Dearest Colette
My very warm thanks for the “sweet lovely roses”,3 which brought up intensely vivid remembrances of long-ago joys. It is sad to think that your life has become so solitary. Mine remained overwhelmingly busy until I fell ill a month ago.4 Now I must do less, which I am glad of.
Very much love, dear Colette.
