Dearest Colette
You have my deep gratitude for your letter3 —
I wish I had known you were at that Westminster meeting4 and I could have seen you after it. It would be lovely to see you. We are fairly often in London (43 Hasker Str. SW3, Tel. Kensington 6888), and when you are next in England could you come there if we are there? Here our house is filled with grandchildren5 when they are at home.
All goes very well with me. How are things with you?
Very much love.
B.

He gave the keynote speech (“Steps towards Peace”, The Observer, 18 Jan. 1959; B&R C59.05) at this founding meeting of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament.
