My dearest Colette
I will leave here at 10 a.m., as I find the household has so much to do that I don’t like to ask them to give me breakfast at 6.45. I reach Exeter 1.38, and will take the first train on to Bristol. We brought John3 and another boy4 down here; the other boy instantly developed measles, and probably John will soon.
I can stay with you till Friday morning. I shall enjoy a picnic. — How vexing about your voice!5 I hope it is getting better. My love, Colette my Dear.
B.
