This is only one line because I forgot to say please address

c/o Thomas Cook & Son
Shanghai

as I leave here2 the end of April and shall be at Shanghai or up the Yiangtse after that till July, when I go to Japan.

Please tell Miss Haydon3 to do the same.

I haven’t time for a proper letter now — All goes well. I wonder where you spent Xmas4 — I hope you got my wire.5

    Miss Haydon Edith Haydon was forwarding BR’s mail from the Battersea flat he shared with Clifford Allen, who was in Cannes for his health. In March 1921 Haydon was living at 224 Queens Road, Battersea Park, but in a letter of 8 March 1921 (BRACERS 1506) to BR she expressed a desire to live with Clifford Allen.
