Monday night2
Beloved
A 1000 thanks for the really lovely flowers — it was extraordinarily good of you to think of them in the hurry of departure. I wonder how you are enjoying tonight and how the whole tour3 will be. I shall miss you most terribly but I am glad you are gone. I am sure a tour was the thing for you — I hope you will soon get back to your writing.4
My dearest Darling, I love you more than words can say — tenderly and deeply — You are so dear, so dear — Bless you, Heart’s Comrade5 — Through you my world is warm —
