My Beloved
Thank you so much for telegraphing yesterday4 — such a dear telegram — I don’t suppose there will be a letter today — we are just going to the post —
Let me know as soon as you can whether you will be away with Clare5 on Sp. 24 or will be able to see me — it affects my plans — apart from the fact that I hate to think of its being still longer before we meet again — But I certainly think it will be a very good thing if you can take Clare away — and for you too — We are off for an all-day expedition and I mustn’t keep the others waiting.
My Heart’s Life, the wonder and depth of our time together last Sunday lives in my thoughts continually — I love you, with all my being, eternally —
