My Beloved
Your letter (and cheque!) have just come — I have only one moment — I wrote to Torquay3 but I suppose you were gone. How are you? I long to see you but tomorrow I have to spend the morning on business, and anyhow I would rather wait for the Studio4I think — at least I don’t want to delay its being ready — What a happiness that will be — My Darling loved one —
I have been unspeakably busy but that won’t last —
Goodnight my Heart. I send you a thousand kisses and a million tender thoughts.
