My Darling Loved One
It was a wonderfully happy time — but terribly short. I do long to be away with you and at leisure — these hurried moments are so tantalizing. But just now it is difficult. August?
I count on you tomorrow for dinner — I am free all day from 12 onwards and could do anything you like. But probably you are not feeling well — also there must be painting still? Will you come back to 343 after dinner? I shall have plenty to fill my day if you are busy.a
Next week I shall have very little to do — I could go with you to the country for a whole day, and come back to 34 after dinner, if you could, on Wednesday. Will you? Do, my Heart’s Darling, if you can — I long to be in the country with you again — but after thinking it over I don’t think I ought to this Sunday.
Now I have a Comee.4 Goodnight my Beloved — I send you 1000 kisses, and tender thoughts to encircle you like good angels.
