My Darling Loved one
Here I am, hurrying back from Dartmoor,3 where I think I was fairly successful. The country is infinitely lovely — and I have enjoyed glimpses of the sea from Teignmouth to Dawlish, because the Govt. won’t let me see the sea now-a-days.4
I was infinitely happy with you Tuesday my Beloved — you were so wonderfully dear and I felt your love all round me — I cannot tell you what life and hope it gave me. It made everything easy — Bless you, my Heart’s Joy —
