My Darling

This is only a line about Miss Malecka. The D.N. paragraph saying bail was refused appears to have been a sheer mistake. George Trevy went to the F. O. yesterday to find out, and they said it must be a mistake, so he put in the paragraph which appeared this morning in the D.N. It appears Sanger has made himself responsible for the whole sum, so unless subscriptions come in he will be ruined. I should quite have expected it of him. Owing to George’s action the question of publicity has been decided.

I enjoyed seeing George very much. We talked about history, Russia, Miss Malecka, Tolstoy, Cromwell etc. etc. Isn’t it curious the pleasure there is in any talk with people one is really fond of? One seems to get themselves in every little word. It warms one’s heart and does one good.

This is only a business note so I will stop. Goodbye Darling.

Your loving
B.
