Dear Mr. Roseliep,1
I am sorry that I cannot give you any help as I have no letters from my brother to Lionel Johnson2 or from Lionel Johnson to my brother. I have never seen the volume of Winchester letters3 to which you allude. My brother used to speak of Lionel Johnson occasionally but I never met him, and whatever papers there may have been have not come into my hands.4
Yours very sincerely
