Thank you for your friendly letter. I hopea you won’t be deprived of Carn Voel. I look forward to seeing John’s wife and child. I am very glad you liked my history book.
Yes, things are difficult just now owing to transitions. I hope they will get better before long. I am told you were at Paddington when the children went off to Dartington, but I didn’t see you.
