BRACERS Record Detail for 56046
To access the original letter, email the Russell Archives.
BR asks him to forward a document to Koestler for discussion. See Crawshay-Williams to Koestler, 1946/01/21 (record 57921). The document was on the atomic bomb.
Patricia is still chasing speakers for the meeting that she has organized and says that Polemic has asked BR for "an article on Russia".
BR / PATRICIA RUSSELL TO RUPERT CRAWSHAY-WILLIAMS, [20 JAN. 1946]
BRACERS 56046. ALS. McMaster
Proofread by K. Blackwell
Dear Crawshay Williams
Would you kindly forward enclosed to Koestler, whose address I don’t know. It is not for publication, but a text for discussion.1
Yours sincerely
Russell.
Did you find your gloves? I thought you might have left them in the hall at the P. Arms and meant to ask but forgot because of a great rush of re-measuring after noticing that the big room door is too close to the fireplace. Please tell Elizabeth I suffer agonies of remorse for not helping with washing-ups etc.
Storm Jameson says she can’t speak and I am therefore still chasing speakers.
Many thanks to you both for the good time you gave us. Polemic has asked B. for an article on Russia.2
In haste,
P.H.R.
Enc. Elizabeth’s needles.
