BR TO RUPERT CRAWSHAY-WILLIAMS, 30 MAY 1947
BRACERS 56045. TLS. McMaster

Dear Rupert,

I think it possible that the enclosed batch of letters1 may interest you as they give a picture of average sentiment in England at the present time. The one that gave me the most pleasure was the one saying that Satan inspired my talk.

I do not want the letters back. I have not had any about my broadcast on you,2 as the B.B.C. only forwards letters about once a month.

If this letter reaches you while Peter is still there some of the enclosed may interest her.

Love to Elizabeth, and tell Peter (if still there)a the flat seems very empty without either her or the dog.

Yours aff.
<signed> B.R.
