Thank you for your letter. I will come to the Shiffolds as soon as I can manage it, but probably only for the day — I am going soon to Australia, and am very busy preparing lectures. I am sorry about Bob — you tell me nothing of yourself — I can’t bear to think of Bob hardly ever laughing — it is a challenge! I will make him.
