My dear Elizabeth

Thank you for your nice letter. I very much want to come to Shiffolds, but at the moment I don’t like to make arrangements involving train journeys over and above my weekly journey to Cambridge, as the Dr. urges me to be careful. So may I put off my visit till the weather is a little warmer? I am glad Bob’s operation was no worse. Thursday is my Cambridge day, otherwise I should have hoped to see you when you come to London.
