BR also tells Ottoline in April 1911 that he is walking alone. The rest of the year he doesn't point out walking solitary.

Dear Bessie
Thank you very much, but I am afraid it is impossible. I have a great deal of work on hand which I can only do in Vacations, and that requires that I should shut myself up somewhere. Just at present I am walking alone for a few days to get rid of the fatigue of term; also I have to go to the Whiteheads; but otherwise I think I ought to stay quiet and work.
I am very sorry, but I find it very hard to get writing done in term time and have just lately resolved that I must pay hardly any visits. I am glad there is good news from Bob and Goldie.
Yrs sincerely
Bertrand Russell.
