Dear Sir,
My husband has asked me to thank you for your letter of March 20th and to say that it is not worth while for him to make corrections in Roads to Freedom, as the alterations necessary to bring the book up to date and into conformity with his present opinions would be too extensive. He thinks, therefore, that it may be desirable for him to write a prefatory note, and will read the book during the next few weeks with this object.
It has seemed to me highly desirable that The Practice and Theory of Bolshevism should be reprinted. I do not know whether this has been considered.
Yours faithfully,
<signed> Patricia Russell.
