Dear Mr. Unwin,
My husband has asked me to write to you about your suggestion of a volume of essays. The one recently published by the C.U.P. is to be incorporated in the book he is at present writing, which he hopes you will ultimately publish; this was provided for in the contract with the C.U.P.
As to other essays: I have for some time been setting aside articles which seemed suitable for book publication. Many of these are among the papers we left in America, which, I hope, are now on their way home. Others are stored with the furniture of our Cambridge house, which we have given up. It will, I am afraid, be some months before we can assemble the lot and consider them. We will then let you know what we find that seems suitable still.1
Yours sincerely,
<signed> Patricia Russell.
