I received a letter a few days ago from the publisher of the Italian translation of my History of Western Philosophy pointing out an error which they ask permission to correct. They are in the right, and the error ought to be corrected, but unfortunately I have mislaid their letter and do not remember their address. Could you, on my behalf, authorize them to make the suggested emendation? I have sent you from time to time various other small corrections of errors, which I understand you have incorporated in the forthcoming reprint. If you could let the translators have a list of these,1

it would be a very good thing.
