Dear Lord Russell,
<F>urther to my last letter which I hope you have duly received: prof. George Moore writes he is sorry to be unable to print the full version of my review of your Hist. West. Phil. in Mind. I see he was to give you the (carbon) typescript I sent him. I sure hope he has done so. If not, please ring him up and ?? it. I have seen this morning with intense annoyance that the 19th Century editor — who was to have published my article on v. Mises “Omnipotent Government” in the Oct. ?? and so — have kept my review of your book till its publication by A. & U., has not only departed from this arrangement by postponing “O.G.” not printing the review ?? ?? with a simple line “to be published soon” in ??, but has also not — with so much as ‘by your leave’ ?? ?? cont. This line at the beginning, omitting all the well-deserved praise I gave the book in the first paragraphs. One would not think it possible, but there it is! I will now make another effort to get this part and some ?? version ?? the Hibbert so please send me back one of the two typescripts, if possible the one ?? ?? to get from G.M. Also please ‘?? ?? Wolf’
Sincerely yours
Robert Eisler
