Dear Warder

Many thanks for the two cheques and for letter and royalty statements. The cheques quite suffice to meet momentary difficulties, the most pressing of which was an instalment of income tax: I think the sales of the Inquiry are quite as good as could be expected.

Have you seen a review2 in Philosophy and Phenomenological Research, a quarterly journal, for this month? The last paragraph contains quotable sentences.
