Thank you very much for your kind letter. I am glad to know the royalties will be so considerable. Meanwhile, if you are willing, I should be glad to have a cheque — not necessarily for as much as $500 — as soon as is convenient to you, as I have some rather urgent accounts to pay. My financial position is essentially sound, but furnishing proved expensive.
