Dear Warder

I am returning by today’s post all the proofs I have received. I note that no proof of the Table of Contents was sent me. It should come just after the Preface. I will get the Index done as soon as I have the whole in paged proof.

Spelling of “Hamurabi” was queried. One M or two are equally correct. The fellow didn’t know himself how his name should be spelt.

I go to Harvard tomorrow.
