The announcement2 seems to me all right. I think it indicates the kind of book accurately.

As for the index: I can probably get some student at Harvard to do it for a moderate sum. As it can’t be done till the whole is in page proof, the matter is not very pressing. You will remember that the book must not be published till my lectures at Harvard are finished, which will be (I think) Dec. 20.
