I send the proofs herewith, duly corrected. There is still to come a short bibliography and an index. The latter, of course, will have to have the paging altered by you after you have set it up.
I have left it to you to restore Little Jack Horner, and to cut down the long quotation from Peacock — do exactly what you like about this.
The mottoes to Parts must come on the same page as “Part I” or “Part II” or whichever it may be, and there must be nothing else on that page.
I don’t think I need see proofs; I would rather not, if I may assume that your proof-reader can see to them.
