Dear Mr. Hector
Your letter has been forwarded to above address, which is where I now live.
The lectures are not otherwise contracted for, and I shall be glad to give permission for you to reprint them if the financial aspect can be satisfactorily arranged. You say you are willing to pay the New Leader $500, but I do not understand what part of this payment would come to me. The New Leader still owes me $70, having only paid part of the agreed fee so far. I am leaving for England, probably next month, so I should need payment before then. I should be willing to give permission if I could receive half of the suggested $500, together with the $70 still due, before May 15.
Yours sincerely
Bertrand Russell
