I forgot to note what day we fixed for you to come to tea. This is to say that I hope it wasn’t Saturday, as Sir Stanley Unwin (my publisher, from whom all blessings flow) wants to see me then to discuss some important matter — what, I don’t know. Could you let me know what day we fixed, and if it was Saturday, ring me up and we will fix another. I haven’t got your address in the country.
