Dear Nicod
This is to introduce to you a Chinese colleague, Mr. Shang Shen Fu. He is being sent to France by the University on an educational commission and wishes to know about French university matters. He knows my writings, all of them, far better than I do, and has constructed an inconceivably complete bibliography of them. He will want to know about your one law of thought.
How is the fish, and have you invented any other beasts? A Taoist admirer here wrote to tell me that I combined the qualities of the phoenix and the unicorn. Dora denies this.
Yours ever
Bertrand Russell.
Dora sends love to both, and will write as soon as we get into our new house.
