Dear Julian,
Thank you for your kind letter. The accident was, in fact, so far as I was concerned not nearly so bad as it seemed in the papers. I did not know at the time that there were any casualties, as everybody that I saw got away without difficulty.
Please give my very best regards to Juliette. Do you now live altogether in Paris, or are you only there from time to time?
