Thank you for sending me Mr. Emery Reves’ book.1 I would have written sooner, but I hope to find time to read it, which has not yet happened to me. I am quite willing to believe in its excellence, and shall read it as soon as I can.

I have no spare copy of the address that I gave in Friends’ House,2 and am sending you the manuscript.
