Dear Clive

Thank you for your letter. May I suggest your coming to tea on Wed. May 9, at 4 or thereabouts? It is not so difficult to get here as you fear. You take a bus, No. 106, to Red Cross (which is its terminus) and mine is then the 3rd house on the right, about 50 yards from the bus stop. The bus goes every 12 minutes from Christ’s, or, if you prefer it, from Portugal Place. I shall hope also to see you in Hall on the 10th.

Yrs ever
B.R.
