Dear Mr. Gorki
I will certainly do everything in my power to help you In regard to your new review. I published recently in The New Leader five articles on the structure of the atom, which might suit you as an introduction, though I suspect they are too popular; however I am having them sent to you. I propose to work them up into a little book, which might suit you better. But if you want proper scientific accounts, of course it is better to go to men who know the subject professionally, which I do not; the best would be Professora Niels Bohr, of the University of Copenhagen. If he could not write himself, he could tell you who would, as he knows all who are working in the subject.
I do not know of any book of Rutherford’s with a title like the one you mention, except a very old book on radio-activity, which is now out of date. Since then, I thought his work had only been published in papers, but I will find out.
With all best wishes,
Yours sincerely
Bertrand Russell.
