Dear Cory,

Thank you for sending me the Journal of Philosophy with your article, which I re-read with much pleasure. I found your defence of my opinions most convincing, and after reading it I was almost inclined to think that I might have been right. It is a pity that Mind has become so clique-y.

I am interested to learn that Santayana is writing a work on “Thrones, Dominations, <sic> Principalities and Powers”. Whenever a world war starts it puts a manuscript of his in jeopardy.

We shall be delighted to see you and Mrs. Cory at any convenient time.

Yours very sincerely,
Russell.
