BR invites the Hammonds to visit. The Russells will be at 27 Dorset House from April 20 to May 21 and in the autumn. In the summer BR is going twice to Holland, Sweden and Norway.
No liaison between Bush House and Portland Place of the BBC, so his Burns review will not be broadcast in England.

Dear Hammond
It was a great pleasure to get such a nice letter from you. I have for a long time wished to see you again. My wife and I in the course of work had occasion to read your and Mrs. Hammond’s books rather carefully, and with continually increasing admiration. I should like to lunch with you at the Reform Club, but as my wife wishes very much to make the acquaintance of you and your wife, couldn’t you both come to us some time? We shall be in London (27 Dorset House, Gloucester Place, N.W.1) from April 20 to May 21, and again in the autumn. During the summer I have to go to Holland (twice), Sweden, and Norway, and in the intervals we shall be here.
I don’t think my remarks on Burns will be broadcast in England. So far as I can see there is no liaison between Bush House and Portland Place.
Yours ever
Russell.
