Dear Dr. Stopes
I have been ill for some time with influenza leading to bronchitis, and the Dr. has only with great reluctance consented to my giving my lecture Tuesday on condition that I go straight there and straight back, so after argument he compelled me to cancel my lunch with you, to my very great regret.
