29th January, 1946.

Dr. Marie Stopes,
Norbury Park,
Nr. Dorking,
Surrey.

Dear Dr. Stopes,

Thank you very much for your kind letter. I am sorry to say that it is not possible for me to stay to dinner as that involves staying the night, and I have to be in Cambridge early on Wednesday morning. I could, however, with much pleasure come to lunch on one of these Tuesdays, if lunch would suit you. I am engaged on the 5th and 12th, but am free on the 19th and 26th. It would be a great pleasure to see you.

Yours sincerely,
<signed> Russell.
