Dear Mr Holsaert1

Your letter of July 29 arrived too late, as I had already returned all the proofs you sent me. You will find, however, that I have attended to the points you raise; if I have made no correction, the proof is correct.

The postage by air mail on the returned proofs was £4 ($16). I don’t know whether Messrs Simon and Schuster will bear part of this expense.

Yours faithfully
Bertrand Russell
