BR evidently declines a suggestion to meet or dine with Ogden:
"... I cannot arrive much before my lecture and am booked afterwards to dine with the promoters of it...." (This is most likely in reference to BR's National Book League lecture on Oct. 23 ("Philosophy and Politics").)

Dear Ogdena,
Thank you for your letter. I am sorry to say that I shall not have a moment to spare, as I cannot arrive much before my lecture and am booked afterwards to dine with the promoters of it, and immediately after dinner I return here. It would be nice if you could ever find time to look me up here; I shall no longer be here after Christmas.
Yours sincerely,
<signed> Russell.
