Dear Sir,
Thank you very much for your letter. On the subject of recent work in Logic, I don’t know if I can give you any information, for I am sure you know everything I have read. I don’t know of anything of great importance: but I have been so occupied with writing that I have barely had time to read. The first volume of the book by Whitehead and myself will appear during the first months of next year, and the two other volumes as fast as they can be printed. It will be a book of about 2,400 pages. I too hope that Logistic will become popular again, and I believe it will. But it will first need to find a definitive doctrine. The international language is a fine project, which has my complete support, but I am so busy that I have not the time to contribute actively.
With my warmest wishes,
Bertrand Russell
